Mission Beach-Queensland

Whitehaven Beach-Queensland

Whitehaven Beach is renowned for its crystal clear water and pristine white sand stretching over 7 km along Whitsunday Island. The sand in the Whitehaven Beach is known for its whiteness due to its 98% pure silica contents giving it a bright white colour. The sand does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot on a hot day.A stunning inlet at the northern end of the beach is the Hill Inlet where the tide shifts the sand and water to create a beautiful fusion of colours. Visitors who are interested in a day trip can avail of ferries, yachts, power boats and luxury cruising yachts and experience the breathtaking views of this magnificent getaway. To enjoy the amazing aerial views of the magical waters of the Hill Inlet, scenic helicopter and seaplane rides are also offered. Holiday makers can also enjoy a short bush walk to the Tongue Point lookout, the best spot from which to view the swirling sands of Hill Inlet.
Heron Island-Queensland

Heron Island is a pristine coral cay where you can swim straight off the beach into an endless garden of corals.
